David Thiel

Please note that this is an on-going project.

Project Description

The course introduces students to academic research methods and tools. The emphasis is for students to develop a research project idea arising from the literature inn their field of engineering. In doing so, students must review and recognize the important of the project to humanity through the eyes of the UN SDGs.

Project Personnel and Beneficiaries

All students in engineering MUST undertake a research project as part of their professional engineering registration.

Outcomes to Date

All project proposals are scored partly on their contribution to human society and through identified UN SDGs.

Project Significance

All project descriptions MUST address how this research plan will support some of the UN SDGs. At the end of the course, students might use this project plan as part of their final year project, master’s degree thesis and even their PhD
