This opportunity assessment (OA) will review the potential to maximise the benefits of improved energy technologies for Australian homes directly; and for providing grid support and the potential for smart algorithms, to assist customers to optimise energy choices.

Energy industry and their customers.

Outcomes to Date

Outputs of this research theme will focus on customer-oriented resources and tools to assess and enhance the benefits of implementing new home energy technologies.

Project Significance

Benefits of improving home energy technologies can include: reducing energy bills, improved health and well-being of home occupants, reduced carbon emissions, improved utilization of renewable energy and power quality.
