Griffith University supports the Sustainable Development Goals

Leaders in Conversation GC – A trejectory of sporting success looking towards Brisbane 2032

Professor Carolyn Evans

Project Description

Taking place at Griffith University’s Gold Coast campus, the discussion over lunch will focus on:
ensuring lasting sport participation and performance legacies from the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games, and ensure an impact not just for South-East Queensland but for society more broadly
moving towards a global future focused on sporting inclusion, diversity and equity, regional development and the development of facilities and infrastructure for the long term
lessons to be learnt from other recent events and how can this inform the approach to Brisbane 2032
We look forward to your attendance and a lively, facilitated discussion (under Chatham House rules) as you share your insights into what Brisbane 2032 means for your sector in partnership with alumni and the University.
