Project Description

We provide training to DFAT staff, particularly the graduate intake, on the content and application of international human rights law, and how human rights arises in their profession.

Project Personnel and Beneficiaries

The key beneficiaries are the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, in terms of upskilling its staff, and the staff attendees.

Outcomes to Date

Two workshops delivered and evaluated in 2023. More workshops to be delivered in 2025.

Project Significance

The training contributes to the effectiveness of DFAT, and the justness in the way it operates. This contributes to SDG 1, the promotion of peace, justice and strong institutions.
