This project was established as there was no data showing that wetlands were crucial for improving the water quality in the Great Barrier Reef.

Project Personnel and Beneficiaries

Department of Environment and Sciences, Qld Government are involved in this project.

Outcomes to Date

We demonstrated where and when wetlands can be excellent for improving water quality.

Project Significance

This project is significant as we want to demonstrate the potential of this nature-based solution for addressing the water quality problem of the Reef.
