Project Significance
Family businesses have a large role in reducing emissions but are also challenged by external events such as the COVID-19 pandemic and more recently energy shocks to the global economy. Family business has demonstrated their resilient nature during such events because of their long-term and relational approach to business. They are well suited to contributing to and being part of recovery plans that can shape the twenty-first-century economy in ways that are clean, green, healthy, safe and more resilient. This book therefore showcases evidence of family businesses internationally that are aligned with SDG#13.
